WHY IS CONSENT IMPORTANT
When one gives consent, people who have that consent have the freedom, choice and control on how that data is being used. That is why it is important to be conscious of who we give our data consent to, be mindful of how it is being used and how the data we share is being protected.
WHAT IS A PRIVACY POLICY?
WA privacy policy is a statement outlining how a website and its operators will collect, store, protect and utilize personal data provided by its users. This personal data includes a user’s name(s), addresses (physical or e-mail), IP addresses, telephone numbers, date of birth, and even financial information, such as debit or credit card details. It also includes information on how it will meet its legal obligations, as well as information on in the event that the company fails to meet those responsibilities, how those sharing their data can seek recourse.
